Warehouse Collapse Due to Resonance Frequency Effect

All right so let’s look at this video. This video is going to show an operator coming down the aisle here and he’s going to try to scooch by here. He’s going to strike a beam.

Again we could have overweighted systems here, we could have a lack of good maintenance in this warehouse several triggering issues priming issues rather that are compounded for this particular instantaneous failure here that happens.

Notice it falls down and towards the system because the column broke and then it’s falling in towards the breaking columns. But what I want you to notice in particular is when we get to the second half of this it will send a shockwave down this.

We’re going to look in particular at the shock wave that happens here. Look at the shock wave that comes and causes a ripple effect to happen here and the whole column the whole system to fall straight down all at once. That’s because of the resonance effect on the steel on the steel system.
